Inspired by the expressive power and versatility of the human voice, Elizabeth McDonald has built a thriving career as one of Canada’s leading voice teachers. As a distinguished member of the Voice Faculty at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Music, she works with emerging classical singers, opera performers, and vocal educators.
Elizabeth offers personalized mentorship for emerging and mid-career artists navigating the challenges of building sustainable, fulfilling lives in the arts. From clarifying goals and strengthening audition materials to writing standout grant applications and developing entrepreneurial tools, her one-on-one support is strategic, grounded, and artist-first. Whether you're seeking clarity, momentum, or a reset, Elizabeth provides the insight and accountability to help you move forward with purpose.
In addition to her private and university teaching studio, Elizabeth also works with choirs and choral conductors across Canada, offering customized training that improves vocal efficiency, deepens musical communication, and elevates artistic outcomes. Her collaborative sessions are practical, engaging, and designed to unlock the full potential of both individual singers and ensembles.
